Professional identity: Your professional self-concept

We help you develop a solid professional profile

Your professional identity is a high value asset in your professional journey. A clear and solid professional identity helps your customers and clients make sense of who you are, what business you are in and what you stand for as an entrepreneur or corporate professional.

Your professional profile is the poster child for your business. If you don’t author our story, others will. Over time, your actions in public may diffuse your audience and clutter up the picture you need to show of yourself. After all, your activities tend to diverge and var in the course of your business life. But your identity and image could become diffuse, unfocussed and ambiguous over time. Kanso helps you to develop a professional identity that can stand the test of time.

The investment in the professional identity  program starts from 1.575 euros ex VAT and expenses. Including the use of the online Kanso tools.

The professional identity experience

Imagine a team that helps you developing your stories of self, us and now. Not just once, for the professional journey you choose to travel, but for two other plausible life plans as well. In this program we provide exactly that. We help you to construct your professional identity as story, using the methods of public narrative. And using the insights from Designing your life, we prototype and visualise how your two alternative and plausible futures might look like, for instance in the form of mock up web sites. A picture tells a story, and is more that thousand words.

Your take-aways

A solid professional identity

After completing the program, you know what to work on in your professional self concept and what to stay away from.

A clear vision of plausible futures

Your take-away is a set of visualisations that are in fact rich pictures. You no longer are a one trick pony, but also not a jack of many trades. Your three Odyssey plans that are validated and tested are inspiration and direction for years to come.

A pure and simple reference for communications

After the program, you have a clear and decluttered professional self concept. You use that to clear your communications towards others, and make their life easier.

What you will achieve

Success does not come as easy as before. You might have a certain gut feeling, an elusive restlessness. You might have the feeling that the way you and your actions are perceived are not as clearly defined and sharp as before.

Over time you have added many roles and concepts to your public narrative. You become more comprehensive, more complete. Your LinkedIn profile is comprehensive, no detail is omitted. But your audience may not know any longer what exactly to expect from you . You have a idea of wanting that to be different, and you may have already taken a few steps towards that change. With the professional identity program you ensure clarity and speed.

You work with tools that help you and your team create stories of self, us and now. Your team provides hones feedback, unexpected  creativity and creates  new images of self and inspiring self-concepts that help clarify and communicate your feelings and thoughts.

You will be pleasantly surprised.

About professional identity

Professional identity is your  professional self-concept based on attributes, beliefs, values, motives, and experiences.

Professional identities play out in tangible ways such as your language, clothes and everyday behaviour. Your identity is the external representation of your inner feelings, beliefs, experiences and values. It is shown in your mails, your marketing efforts, your social media, your website and so one.

All of these afford the people around you, most notably your colleagues, clients and customers, to make sense of what you do. You will help that audience if your message is pure, simple and uncluttered.
