Assessment of Digital Quotient

Welcome to your assessment of digital quotient.

This questionnaire is made to estimate the digital quotient of yourself or your organization. This is done on the basis of a 7-point scale, ranging from 'I fully control this aspect' to 'I barely manage this aspect.'

You can fill in the questionnaire for yourself or for your organization.

Afterwards you will receive a DQ score from 'Beginner' to 'Grandmaster', comparable to an IQ score. 

There are 4 categories:

2. Digital Rights & Literacy
3. Digital emotional intelligence & communication
4. Digital security & safety

There are 24 sections.

In advance we ask you to plot yourself, or your organization, your organization on the 'business values' framework. Your score there is used to generate a number of opportunities to increase the digital quotient.

We don't ask for your email address or other data. 
This section indicates whether you fill in the questionnaire for yourself or for your organization.

You can also indicate how you characterize your organization.

Are you, or is your organization, more internally oriented or more externally oriented?

This is the first dimension of the Competing Values framework, which we use as a stepping stone to increase the Digital Quotient. Some organizations and individuals have an internal orientation with a focus on integration, cooperation and unity. For example, such organizations and managers are considered effective if they have harmonious internal relationships and processes. If that is the case with you, you score yourself or your organization as 'more internally oriented'. Other organizations place more value on focus on differentiation, competition and rivalry. Such organizations are considered effective if they successfully compete against others and create an innovation or market niche. If that is the case with you, then you score yourself or your organization as 'more externally oriented'. There is no right or wrong, only (personal) preference.

Are you, or is your organization, more focused on control or more on flexibility?
This is the second dimension of the Competing Values framework, which we use as a stepping stone to increase the Digital Quotient. Some organizations and individuals attach great importance to versatility and flexibility. They find changing, adaptable and transformational to be valuable. If that is the case with you, then you score yourself or your organization as 'more flexibility oriented'. Other organizations and individuals see stability and sustainability as important values, and above all want to be reliable, predictable and consistent. If that is the case with you, you score yourself or your organization as 'more oriented towards control'. There is no right or wrong, only (personal) preference.
